A lot of things to be concern when designing a space. One of the vital thing that needed is to be conscious with the design outcome. One style approach will bring tremendous difference to a space.

This blog is about an introduction to some of trending style that happening around the world, especially in Indonesia.

1.SCANDINAVIAN

Scandinavian has become one of the most popular style, especially with younger individual. This style has been around since 1930s and gaining its popularity during 1950s and 1960s.

Being low-cost in construction, scandinavian win people hearts, not only for Residential purposes, it also popular in Commercial spaces such as Cafe.

So what basically is scandinavian style? This style derived from the nordic country  with the simplicity, minimalism and functionality as its main characteristic. The identity of this style has always been identical with wood, wash of light, and muted colors.

2.INDUSTRIAL

Industrial style are modernized old object. It takes clues from old warehouse and loft. It commonly associated with exposed pipes, ducts, and raw exposed element or unfinished look.

This style is definitely more popular among men. Beside being aesthetic, it also bring masculinity towards the space.

Similar to scandinavian style, interest towards Industrial style currently keeps on growing in Residential and Commercial space.

3.MODERN / MID CENTURY MODERN

Modern style is identified with its clean and simple look. Modern style exist from 1920s to 1950s, and continued by Mid Century Modern from 1950s to 1980s. This style remained popular until today, especially in Residential and Hospitality area where it provide clean edges, making space look fresh and homey at the same time.
