“Bold and nostalgic.”

+.

Dirasa reinterprets the familiar atmosphere of a kopitiam through a contemporary, graphic lens. Housed in a linear townhouse volume, the design responds to its rigid proportions with fluid, noodle-inspired forms that introduce softness and movement throughout the space.

The brand’s red and blue identity is integrated directly into the architecture, appearing in tiled walls, custom furniture, and graphic elements, creating a bold yet cohesive visual language. Curved communal tables become the social core of the café, designed to accommodate both dining and casual coworking, reflecting the evolving habits of urban café culture.

Balancing retro references with clean detailing, Dirasa feels nostalgic without being literal—a playful, everyday space where colour, form, and function come together to elevate the simple ritual of eating noodles.
